On June 3, 2008 Sanctuary for Families hosted its 13th annual Zero Tolerance Benefit at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. The benefit was an exciting and elegant evening for more than 1,600 prominent New Yorkers from the fashion, business and legal communities who join us in support of the agency’s work with victims of domestic violence and their children.

This year’s Zero Tolerance Benefit honored:

• Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, Law Firm Leadership Award
• Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, Corporate Vision Award

After dinner and the awards ceremony, DJ Grandmaster Flash hosted the Party which was sponsored by Lucky Magazine. There was a raffle and silent auction throughout the evening, including a special raffle for a luxury VIP experience at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC and a featured auction item from Roar Africa with a 15-day customized trip to Africa for two including a safari, stay in a vineyard, and a trip to Mozambique.
