Sanctuary’s shelters provide safe refuge to approximately 200 women and children each night. Sanctuary maintains three small safe dwellings, one slightly larger crisis shelter, and Sarah Burke House (SBH), the first and still the largest transitional shelter for domestic violence victims and their children in New York State.

Crisis Shelters & Safe Dwellings provide immediate safety and housing for women and children leaving domestic violence situations.

Transitional Shelter provides families leaving emergency shelter with a longer-term solution.
