2009 Above & Beyond

On Monday, November 2, 2009, Sanctuary for Families honored sixteen extraordinary pro bono attorneys at the 2009 Above & Beyond Pro Bono Achievement Awards and Benefit.

Hundreds of friends and supporters attended the event, which raised crucial funds to support Sanctuary’s Center for Battered Women’s Legal Services. Hosted by the Sanctuary Associates Committee (SAC), the annual awards ceremony and benefit honors members of the legal community who have gone “above and beyond” by providing outstanding pro bono representation and advocacy on behalf of victims of domestic violence.
