Sanctuary for Families Marathon Team

There are still spots open for the 2010 Sanctuary for Families Marathon Team - send in your application today!

On Sunday, November 7, 2010, a team of 40 runners will represent Sanctuary for Families in the ING New York City Marathon, raising awareness and funds for our work during Sanctuary’s 25th anniversary year.  Click here to make a donation in support of a Sanctuary marathon runner. 

About the team:

Members of the team receive guaranteed entry into the ING NYC Marathon in exchange for raising a minimum of $2,500.00 to support Sanctuary’s work with victims of domestic violence.

Sanctuary team members are invited to participate in the following activities:

  • Team kick-off party
  • Group runs in Sanctuary team t-shirts
  • Pre-race dinner to get in gear for race day
  • Personal fundraising page on Sanctuary’s website
  • Private Sanctuary bus to the marathon starting line

How to sign up:

To join the team, download the application and release form (below) and send the two completed documents to marathon@sffny.org.  You will receive a confirmation email from Sanctuary if you have been accepted to the team.
