While many companies offer matching gift opportunities for their employees’ monetary charitable donations, your company may also contribute based on your donation of time – through a "Dollars for Doers" program. 

Dollars for Doers is a way for companies to recognize, support and encourage volunteerism among their employees. Valuing employee time and understanding the importance of issues affecting their communities, many companies will make a contribution both to you and your nonprofit organization of choice if you log a certain number of volunteer hours.  These programs vary greatly between different companies.
