Above & Beyond Benefit

Sanctuary for Families' 10th Annual Above & Beyond Pro Bono Achievement Awards & Benefit took place on Monday, January 14, 2013.


Hosted by the Pro Bono Council, this special benefit honored members of the legal community who have gone “above and beyond” by providing outstanding pro bono representation and advocacy to victims of domestic violence and related forms of gender violence.

In 2012, Sanctuary was proud to award a special Above & Beyond Leadership Award to New York City Council Member Julissa Ferreras, chair of the Women's Issues Committee, for her outstanding advocacy and leadership on behalf of domestic violence and sex trafficking victims in New York.
