On Sunday, May 5, 2013, a team of 20 cyclists will represent Sanctuary for Families in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour. 2013 marks the third year that the TD Five Boro Bike Tour has added an official charity program and Sanctuary is honored to be one of the selected charity partners. Sanctuary’s team will cycle through car-free streets of New York City, raising awareness about domestic violence and sex trafficking.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Members of the team will receive guaranteed entry into the TD Five Boro Bike Tour in exchange for raising a minimum of $2,000 to support Sanctuary’s work assisting domestic violence victims.
SANCTUARY TEAM MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE:
Entry into the TD Five Boro Bike Tour
Priority race start pass positioned in first corral of riders
Access to the Charity VIP areas for breakfast at the start line and lunch at the festival in Staten Island
Sanctuary for Families team shirt, water bottle and other fun race goodies
Personal online fundraising page and fundraising tips from dedicated Sanctuary staff
Team Facebook group for sharing information, advice, and encouragement
