HOW TO MAKE A DONATION

Sanctuary for Families is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Public contracts support Sanctuary's shelter programs and basic counseling services for families in shelter. However, Sanctuary depends entirely upon private funding to support the variety of innovative programs and services we provide for domestic violence victims and their children.

In-Kind Donations

Due to limited resources, storage, and for security reasons, we can no longer accept in-kind donations from individual donors.

Corporations and organizations that would like to organize an in-kind drive or contribute new products may contact the Development Assistant at inkind@sffny.org or by calling

(212) 349-6009, ext. 494.

Celebrating Life Events

If you are celebrating a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or another special event and would like to request a donation to Sanctuary in lieu of gifts, please email adommu@sffny.org for more information.

Gifts of Stock

If you are interested in making a contribution of stock, please contact Sanctuary’s Development Associate at (212) 349-6009 x 494 or by emailing adommu@sffny.org.

Matching Gifts

Many companies have a Matching Gift program, in which the company will match all or part of the tax-deductible portion of its employee's cash donation to Sanctuary for Families. If you would like your company to match a gift that you have made, please include the necessary paperwork with your portion filled out, along with your donation to Sanctuary.

Bequests
